REGULATION INFORMATION:
REGULATIONS & GUIDELINES:
 |
IDNR - Hunters must follow all Illinois Department of Natural Resources hunting rules and regulations. (See the current Illinois Hunting & Trapping digest on the IDNR website). No Alcohol or smoking on the hunt. If you pack it in,
pack it out. No litter please! |
 |
Safety belt, Harness and/or vest - all hunters are responsible for their own safety. Timberland Farms REQUIRES all hunters to bring and wear a safety belt, harness and/or vest at all times when in the stand. Waiver of liability will be required on all hunts. |
 |
Stands - pre-hung commercial stands are provided, located over wheat/clover food plots, along active runs and natural funnels. No still hunting, drives or stalk hunting will be allowed. |
 |
ATV’s - To provide a quality hunting experience for your group, foot travel is highly encouraged. This will improve harvest potential and reduce noise/ disturbance to other hunters in your group. ATV’s will be allowed to retrieve harvested deer and if necessary, for travel to and from stands. Illinois law requires bows to be cased during transportation on ATV’s. |
UPON ARRIVAL:
Your group will need to arrange to meet with us the afternoon before your hunt. We will have maps, an up to date scouting report and we will show you around the farm. We will log your hunting permit, license and habitat stamps. We will also have a short orientation on farm
rules and regulations. You will need to sign a waiver. All hunters must read, understand and sign the waiver. Please schedule your arrival early enough to allow time to shoot your bow to ensure all equipment is in working order.
